Browser storage currently used
The embedded chat widget uses browser local storage to remember a conversation identifier for the widget's configured website origin. This lets a visitor continue a conversation after reopening the widget in the same browser.
The admin application also uses browser storage to remember the selected conversation. Its authentication provider may use browser storage to maintain an authenticated session.
Cookies and third parties
No first-party cookie implementation is visible in this codebase. Hosting, authentication, analytics, and other production services may set cookies or use additional storage; this must be verified in the deployed product before publication.
Do not state that the product is cookie-free unless production testing confirms that statement.
Your controls
Visitors can clear browser storage through their browser settings. A final policy should explain any available in-product controls and any consent choices required for non-essential technologies.
